Ok so i have a friend boy!?

okay! i have a friend named trent! ok i kinda like him, we have been bffs scence like 4th grade! he doesnt like me back so.... i just act normal about it! until i get home... and then he starts calling me asking me to ask my friends if they want to go out with him! I was thinking to myself "how rude can he be aabout that!" i like him and then he goes and asks me to ask my friends if they like him?~ i dont get boys sometimes.... but like i still like him and how can i not make him like me but not like me if ya know what i mean? well if you dont know what i mean just commment this please!
