Could I be pregnant?

Last week I went to Ohio with my husband for a vacation, he had a vasectomy so I didn't think it was possible. Now I have a pain in my stomach above my bellyon and missed my period, but I'm in my 40's so that has happened before, it's to early to take a test. I had a blood test today to check for cholesterol, ect. Will it show in that test?
