What phone do you suggest for a 14 year old on verizon?

Ok, so i am getting an upgrade very soon like next month or so. My mom might push us upgrading until June, she might wanna get the phone as a birthday gift for me. So i really like the Samsung Rogue, but i also love the Motorola Droid. I will be turning 14 this year, too, at the end of May. So anyway. I am 13 now, and have this tracfone. My mom wants to get me a contract phone since it almost the end of the school year, and i have been doing really well in school. I like the rogue and droid as i said. I use the internet on the computer alot for research projects and facebook. I told her i liked the droid and wanted it abd she said maybe. She must want to think, does he really need the 30 unlimited internet. I agree with her i do not want unlimited, just 25 mb. I wish i could get that on the droid though, that is the reason i want the rogue. I just don't want my freinds to be jealous because i got a cooler phone then them. All my friends have enV 2 and 3 and Touches. Some have the chocolate 2 and they always go i have a cooler phone then you. So that is the reason i want the rogue too so they do not hate me for getting a better phone then them. But i still want the droid. But do you think a droid is a good phone for a 14 year old. I wish i didnt have to get the internet because i prefer not having it but i know i have to have it. Also, i get all A's and B's on my report card. Also i have 2 guinea pigs i take care of by giving water and food everyday, and cleaning the cage every day. Do you think i am "mature enough" and responsible enough to get the droid? I would not mind having the rogue, but i would love to get the droid. So what phone best suits me? Also, i do some after school activites and have braces and i always forget when i have appointments. I want a phone that would alrert me the best when i am going to the dentist or doctors. On a normal day oh school, I am not home from about 7:40-3:00 or 5:00 depending what i have after school. I also love to text and have a yahoo e-mail i used and a gmail e-mail i use for my school and activites. I need a phone that when teachers e-mail me i can check them when i am not home, which i know you can do on both phones, but which is better? Also i know for a fact the Droid has the green messaging light on the front of it to tell you you have an e-mail/text. Does the rogue have that, i was just wondering. And i have to say with verizon, my parents will nto switch because the service it very good where i live.
