Is a vasectomy a good idea/painful?

I know of 3 vasectomy procedures where the woman still became pregnant. The pill really is safe as long as you are taking it regularly. If you want to adopt you should really ask yourself if you are truly not wanting to have your own. 9 years ago my husband and i said the same thing. today- we have 4 and i would have another in a second.
