Are atheists more evangelical in their faith than any other religion?

If not, then why do so many atheists log on to the R&S forum to denounce religion? Clearly not to seek the company of other atheists...they can do that anywhere. So, it must be to spread atheism to non-atheists. A very evangelical approach....yet I've seen countless posts denouncing Christians for the very same thing. In post after post, I've seen atheists accusing Christians of being hostile, intolerant, and argumentative....yet here they are every night arguing with us about what we believe. Is it that the atheists are so convinced that their beliefs are right that they won't listen to anyone else? Isn't that exactly what they say of we religious folks? Do the atheists not see their own hypocracy? It seems to me that the atheists in the R&S forum have all the stereo-typical traits that they place upon those of us with faith....in many ways, atheism is their chosen "religion" and they are desperate for converts.
