You are building an NFL franchise and you are told?

I'd go with the positions that have the most longevity, youth and versatility, and with that list I'd probably pick Jerrod Mayo and Desean Jackson. Mayo is young and has a major effect on the run and pes over the middle, and his position is the leader of the defense, and while I really like Steven Jackson's power and versatility, especially because I think running back is more important than receiver, Desean's explosiveness is so rare that you can't p up on him, he's a game changer. The only other guys I'd consider are jones drew and roddy white, I think Ray Lewis is too old to build around, most cornerbacks don't last long, and p catching tight ends aren't that essential to super bowl winners while the ones that are great blockers are.
