Where does God draw the line between heaven and hell with regard to devotion?

First off, I'd like to say thanks for your proper grammar and proper way of asking questions. But honestly, I do not know. God only knows how God judges. However, the way I've been taught is that as long as you are a good person, in heart and in actions, you have a place in heaven. But its up to you what to believe in. Religion is not subjective as science but its up to your interpretation. The Bible is the interpretation of several scribes. Its up to you.
