How can I create more then one fighter on fight night round 3 ?

I purchased the fight night round three game for the psp system and I am wondering why can't I creat more then one boxer on the game with out losing my fighters carrer mode because I tried to creat another fighter but my previous guy's carrer mode and the fighter were deleted so if oyu could help me out I owuld really appreciate it thankyou.
